FAA Knowledge Exams
We Offer ALL FAA Written Tests in our CATS Testing Center. Located here at VFA.
Our Testing Center is open Monday through Friday. We schedule exams Between 8:30-10:00 am or 1:30 pm. We will also do our best to accommodate a time that works for you.
Our normal office hours (to call and schedule your exam) are Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm EST.

All FAA tests are $165.00.
The Drone (UAG) part 107 Test is $150.00
AOPA and EEA members receive a $10.00 discount with proof of current membership.
DOCUMENTS YOU MUST BRING TO TAKE YOUR TEST:
Only need one form of ID. Preferably a Drivers License.
This must have the following: Current photograph, permanent residential address (and mailing address if different) PO Box is NOT acceptable. Proof of age, and signature.
Acceptable forms of ID include, but are not limited to: Driver’s license, Government ID card, Passport, and Alien residency (green) card.
Both US Citizens and Non US Citizens:
Will also need to bring a copy of their authorization to take the test. This includes certificates of completion signed by an instructor. Endorsements, or the results of the test if you are retaking the exam.
Non- US Citizens:
Must have two valid forms of ID.
One of the two forms of ID MUST be a PASSPORT. The second form of ID must contain: current photograph, Permanent residential address (and mailing address if different). Proof of age, and signature. The second form of ID can be a Visa, Government ID card or Drivers license.
The following items may be used as proof of a current permanent residential address:
Utility bill, Medical Certificate, FAA Form 8610-2, Bank Statement, Insurance card, Pilot’s license, Voter Registration card.
