FLIGHT VT

Vermont Flight Academy and Beta Technologies are working with Community Partners to present free flights for local youth at the Burlington International Airport! The youth are selected by our program partners: Spectrum Youth & Family Services, Sara Holbrook Community Center, King Street Youth Center, the Boys & Girls Club of Burlington, and the Boys & Girls Club of Vergennes. The event will include aircraft and equipment to help youth learn more about potential opportunities in aviation.

You will need to be eligible for our community member’s services to be able to participate in the FLIGHT VT event. If you have been selected by one of our partners, you will be receiving a packet of information allowing participation to this event.

If you are not eligible for their services, please consider a Discovery Flight as an option. This 2-hour experience opens the doors to aviation and allows for a first flight with hands-on learning and flight time that will be recorded in a logbook. You will be able to discuss with your Certified Flight Instructor about real life experiences they had throughout their training and give you advice how to move forward to achieve a dream to continue with your aviation interest.
